Story:
I was planing on getting a big group of friends together to see A23 with me. As is turns out I managed to get 7 people (excluding myself) wanting to come, and one who actually did. I was fine with that. The friend who came with me has been around industrial for a while (mostly my doings), but never really got into the whole electronic scene until recently. So I figured this would be a great experience for him. A week before the show I had money complications... but a few days before it I resolved the issue.
We show up to the front doors about an hour or 30 minutes before the doors open, aside from us, there was one other person waiting in line. I felt so disappointed, although we had a great convocation with this person. When the door finally came to opening up... there was probably 10 people. It was so sad. Then before the show started there was maybe 30 people, it wsn't bad, but it was still not very good.

1st up: SD6;
I felt bad for guys. They tried hard, but with such a small audience, they lacked the confidence to put on a decent show. They got better as the show went on, more people showed up. Personally I felt bad for them and for showing my friend to such a horrible show when trying to give him a good industrial experience. I told him the next band would be better.

See, I had a feeling he'd love Angel Theory. I only heard two of their songs previous to this show, and that was only briefly, but I can usually find musicians that people would enjoy based on a bands name and who their affiliated with other artist. Hell, my friend hasn't even really listened to A23 before the concert.

2nd up: Angel Theory;
It seemed as if the second Charles Fenech came on stage, the night was saved!!! A smile stretched across my friends face and he told me he loved them. My friend is a shy guy and he even started to dance a little to them. Now, there wasn't a lot of people, but most definitely more. Angel Theory was so energetic. Even though the crowd was small, He still made it seen like the room was elbow to elbow.

The audience grew, I lost my place by the stage cause I was so thirsty I had to get a drink.
--

Then it happened. The lights dimmed. You can barely made out an image of Tom Shear. Everyone in the audience got loud and started cheering. The time has arrived. Assemblage 23 began to play. Song after song I danced, I sang, I found some people to dance and sing with. The crowed was larger then it was before A23 got on. Some of my newly found buddies and I where dancing so much and so fiercely that there was some casualties of toes. Good show Tom Shear, good show.
